11.21.2012 Family Portraits

We had a quick mini-session downtown last week with my good friend and her family.  I think we spent just under an hour at several different locations within walking distance of each other.  I was thrilled with how easy and quick both the session and the editing of these images went.  Mini-sessions may need to be a more common occurance! :)

As usual, love using this photo time to get to spend time with these kids...they are so sweet.  I feel like it's an interesting perspective to be behind the camera watching... and I came away with the warm fuzzies that day.  Love seeing these kids' sense of humor and loved the conversations we had...

11.10.2012 Family Portraits

On a beautiful November morning I drove on the back roads of Kosciusko County in areas where I had no idea where I was to meet this adorable little family in their neck of the woods for family pictures.

This family's portraits are my 100th post on my blog!  Should they get a little door prize or something? It's hard for me to believe that I have 100 posts! For a professional photographer, that's probably nothin'... but for a not-so-professional like me, who works a 40 hour work week at another job and doesn't really promote their hobby to the general public - this is a milestone for me. :)  Thanks for reading my blog... and thanks for trusting me enough to capture images of you, your children, your family, etc.  Pretty crazy!

11.4.2012 Childrens Portraits

Get ready for four adorable, adorable kids.  I had a great time meeting up with this family at a friend of theirs' home in their nearby small town for a quick photo session.  Because of our shared love of all things old & rusty - I loved the location Megihann had selected... so, we braved the windy, chilly evening for these photos.

10.25.2012 Family Portraits

Last Thursday's forecast was shaping up to be the perfect evening weather for pictures and I planned to meet Brandy and her family at one of my usual/favorite spots.  You can't always know the local police department might be using that little spot for police force training and that the wind will pick up so violently and interrupt a good hair day!  We rolled with the punches and ended up with a new favorite spot, a beautiful sunset and a successful session!
