5.25.2011 Senior Pics: Tiffiani

This is it!  The final of the four seasons of Tiffiani's senior pics.  We are basically old pros at these sessions now and I'm kind of sad to be finished - Tiffiani is such a great subject.  We went out with a bang though and had all kinds of adventure in these locations! So after spiders, bugs, tons of mosquito bites, and almost losing a flip flop down the creek, this is what we came up with. :)

Since we finished our last few pics in my backyard, my loveable pup was outside with us.  I told her she had to stay up by the house so she wouldn't be in our way.  I'm always very focused on taking the pics, so after multiple poses I was surprised to see her slinking closer and closer in the backyard.  After a few more poses, she was in Tiffiani's arms... she just couldn't resist a blanket in the grass and the arms of a visitor!  So, I took her pic with Tiffiani.  I'm pretty sure this is the framer for Tiffiani's mom's wall!

5.21.2011 Senior Pics: Tiffiani

We have scheduled our final season of Tiffiani's senior pictures for spring.  It's a busy time in her senior year as she gears up for graduation and her final dance recital... and in addition to the spring pics we wanted to fit in a few of her in her dance studio on her pointe shoes.

This was slightly out of my comfort zone since I typically like to work with natural light in an outdoor setting- but I did ok in the studio dealing with the fluorescent lights AND mirrors...and I found that I really enjoyed taking and editing these pics!  Final spring pics coming soon!

5.10.2011 Children's Portraits: Jackson

I'm so excited for warmer weather and longer days!  Now pictures can be taken outside without freezing and we aren't even limited to weekend photo sessions because it stays light out for hours once I leave work.

Jackson's one year photo session kicked off this spring season-o-pics... and we had so much fun with him.  He makes you work hard for his smiles... and his parents and my lovely assistant, Hilary, definitely worked hard.  I think their determination paid off.
