8.23.2011 Family Pictures

I recently drove to Columbia City for a family picture session for some friends of a friend.  They were willing to travel to Warsaw, but I was excited to go to them to find a few new and different settings.

I don't think I could have asked for an easier family of four to photograph.  They were so easy going, photogenic, and had such well behaved little boys!  I really enjoyed watching their brotherly love and hearing their parents laugh behind me at their cute antics in front of the camera.

8.11.11 Children's Portraits: Paddy & Ryan

My mom's side of the family just spent two weeks of family time when everyone came back to town and it was like the old days growing up together.  It was so nice!  One of our favorite places growing up - where we all spent alot of time together - was "back at" Aunt Rose's.  My great Aunt Rose and Uncle Dick lived on a farm in a town about 10 minutes away.  This farm also sits on a semi-private lake.  We loved it there as kids.  So, when deciding on a place for pictures of my cousin's two children - we thought what better place than back at Aunt Rose's!  It was such a fun evening to be back there... and I love that these pictures are tied to that place.

It was a beautiful night for family pictures this week when I met my friend, Sheryl, and her family at a lakeside park in a nearby town.  I loved getting to take pictures of her twins!  They did such a great job.  Here are some of my favorites.

7.25.2011 Childrens Portraits: Sophie, Gabi and Sydney

What a fun evening in Winona Lake with these girls!  I had such a great time meeting Sophie, Gabi and Sydney and their mom.  They were back home in the States from their home away from home in Europe for a little summer vacation .  They work, live, and go to school over there and wanted not only some pictures to remember their home here, but also a few surprise pictures for their dad on his birthday.
