8.4.2013 Childrens Portraits: Remi
Remi is now five and a half and getting ready to enter kindergarten in the fall - it's so hard to believe! This year when he and his mom came home to visit from Philadelphia she had the fun idea of taking a few pics of him on the kindergarten playground of the school we went to - of course I'm all about sentimental things, so I loved the idea.

4.29.2013 Childrens Portraits: Grady
A first birthday is a big occasion! With that milestone approaching for little Grady - it was a great time to capture his many expressions and prepare for his upcoming party. Grady's mom helped out big time with props, ideas, and being the one to get these adorable expressions out of him! He's such a cutie.

11.4.2012 Childrens Portraits
Get ready for four adorable, adorable kids. I had a great time meeting up with this family at a friend of theirs' home in their nearby small town for a quick photo session. Because of our shared love of all things old & rusty - I loved the location Megihann had selected... so, we braved the windy, chilly evening for these photos.

9.27.2012 Childrens Portraits: Elizabeth
I kind of wanted to post every picture from this group of photos of Elizabeth. So many expressions...
Elizabeth turned one a few months ago. She is a smiley, content little girl and she made this session pretty easy for me. The other two things that helped make this session easy for me were Elizabeth's mom and her Uncle Bob... (my sister in law and my husband). :) This is the first photo session that Bob has come on and he was very helpful not only in carrying stuff around for us, but also in getting these cute smiles you will see below. He's pretty funny and also can juggle, which is apparently always a crowd pleaser for Elizabeth.
Elizabeth with these apples was pretty hilarious. I think she could have been entertained with an apple for hours... and actually the three of us might have been content to watch her and her apple antics for hours!

8.15.2012 Family Portraits
Seth and Erin have two beautiful girls and I was thrilled to have the opportunity to take pictures of their youngest at 3 months old and then also take pictures of the spunky older sister (adorable!) and a few family pictures. It was a pretty low key event with just a few quick props in one location that I already knew had some great evening lighting!
I had alot of favorites while editing these pictures! Here are a few:

8.3.12 Childrens Portraits: Remi
Oh, Remi Bear. You are the cutest. It is not just because Remi has Kinsey blood running through his veins, as do I, that I loved this session... but also because Remi has the sweetest little personality and says the funniest little things. Such a sweetheart just like his mamma. And those looks! :)
