9.17.2012 Newborn Portraits: Norah

Norah was born on labor day a week earlier than her due date- which was totally fine with her loving family who were all so eager to meet her. I've enjoyed taking photos of Norah's older sister and her family for a couple years now, so i was also eager to meet her and spend some time with them while we captured a few moments of her at two weeks old. 

I have to mention that the piano photo is especially meaningful to this musical family because this piano belonged to Norah's great grandfather and has now been passed down to her grandparents.  Her older sister enjoys lessons from grandpa on the piano and I'm sure some day Norah will too.  :)

5.23.2012 Newborn Portraits: Chloe

My friend, Sara, and her husband had their baby two weeks ago - a beautiful little girl they named Chloe.  I was excited not only to go to their house to take pictures of her, but also just to meet her in person!

Chloe is one loved little girl.  I enjoyed seeing both her grandmas, her grandpa, her older brother, and of course, her parents during this session.  Everyone was excited about the new baby and it was a loving environment - she's a lucky little girl!

2.26.2012 Newborn Portraits: Reese

Reese is already four weeks old!  My as-sister-ant, Hilary, and I spent Sunday afternoon with Reese and her family at their house taking pictures to document how petite and beautiful Reese is as a newborn baby.

These photos were so much fun to edit - what a beautiful little subject!

6.15.2011 Newborn Portraits: Elizabeth

We drove to St. Louis this weekend to meet our newest niece, Elizabeth!  We love the city of St. Louis - so going there is always great, but this stay was extra special.  It was such a nice weekend spending time with my sister-in-law and brother-in-law and seeing their new life as parents of this tiny little girl.

Elizabeth's due date was originally next week, but she was born 5 weeks early.  She turned one month old during our visit and we were able to do a sort of "mini-session" during our stay.  Here are a few of the pics.

3.18.2011 Newborn Portraits: Zoey

Introducing my youngest subject ever - Zoey! She was six days old at our session.  I spent a lovely  afternoon with Zoey and her family watching them settle into their new routine as a new family of four and getting some shots of Zoey when she was feeling sleepy...

Zoey was born into a very musical family, so we tried to capture that aspect of their life as well as the excited big brother - and we even documented Zoey's first time taking a bottle.

This was so much fun!
