11.28.2010 Family Portraits

I have known Lindsay since 7th grade.  We met in music class on the first day of middle school - decades later she is still very musical AND has her very own family of five.  Other than being a grown-up she hasn't changed very much - still hilarious!  I had fun seeing her again while we spent a little time over the weekend documenting her adorable family.

Although I'm typically not asked to take pictures this late into the year, I am finding that I really love the bare trees and cute coats!  You just have to have shorter sessions so you don't get frost bite and lose fingers.

11.20.2010 Family Portraits

I had been looking forward to taking these family portraits since the day we scheduled the session.  New camera, beautiful subjects, great location...plus the opportunity to see Amy's new house and hang out with good friends afterwards.  Amy & Steve have just moved into their newly rennovated home and we took advantage of the scenic locations of the house & property to forever preserve this moment in their lives.

11.09.2010 Children's Portraits: Jack

Um, Jack is hilarious. He's almost five and he really gets it.  We had a quick session in his home town yesterday...and nearly every one of these faces is a response to him listening to his dad tell him stories about his day at work while I snapped pictures.  Adorable.

11.06.2010 Fashion Photography: MilliLee Designs

When we scheduled the MilliLee Designs Winter Collection photo session we were well into our Indian summer and enjoying unseasonably warm weather... and I woke up Saturday morning- the day of the session- to our very first frosty snow-fall!  Although the temperatures were cold, it was a perfect backdrop and we were able to survive the cold due to a beautiful sunny day and (thankfully) a log school house to warm up in.   Here are some of my favorite pictures from the day of our little models showing off Milli's newest designs:

10.31.2010 Senior Pics: Tiffiani

Tiffiani and I are doing four sessions for her senior pictures - one in every season.  We did her summer session back in August and we just completed her fall session over the weekend.  I was really happy with some of the locations we went out to since I didn't really know what to expect at some of the spots.  Tiffiani has been a great subject for my first attempt with senior pictures - I really like this segment of the photography world!
