9.12.13 Tara & Nate

It’s a lovely story of two people who share two children finding their way back to each other and I wanted to help freeze this moment in time for them.  So, we did a quick little session (which is about all I can do these days) to make sure we captured their wedding attire from their out of state, beach wedding this summer. Love it.

8.4.2013 Childrens Portraits: Remi

Remi is now five and a half and getting ready to enter kindergarten in the fall - it's so hard to believe! This year when he and his mom came home to visit from Philadelphia she had the fun idea of taking a few pics of him on the kindergarten playground of the school we went to - of course I'm all about sentimental things, so I loved the idea.

7.17.13 Photoshop Design: More chalkboard typography!

So, I'm just a couple months out now from having a baby (yikes!) which is why I have not been doing any photography this summer. I have, however, still been messin' around in my beloved Photoshop... learning new tricks and creating projects. 

One recent project was the request of my sister. She and her co-workers were throwing a going-away party for their boss who was moving on to another job and they wanted to give him a going away present to say thank you and good luck.  She described what was in her head and I created what I thought she was envisioning. She matted this print and everyone signed it for him - The end framed product was so cute!

5.30.2013 Senior Portraits: Tyler

I have known Tyler's mom for over a decade which is why it is so hard to believe he will be a senior in high school! How can he be this old?

Tyler's session of senior photos was a crazy mix of sun, thunder, rainbows and downpours.  Despite having to take a slight intermission due to the weather we found some great locations and captured some great images of Tyler.

05.08.2013 Senior Pictures: Nolan

Nolan will be graduating from highschool in a few weeks and in a few more months he'll be off to Lafayette to start a degree in computer science at Purdue. It's a whirlwind time in his life! I remember the chaos well. We had a sort of mini session last week with his parents to take a few senior photos before it all begins...

A first birthday is a big occasion! With that milestone approaching for little Grady - it was a great time to capture his many expressions and prepare for his upcoming party. Grady's mom helped out big time with props, ideas, and being the one to get these adorable expressions out of him! He's such a cutie.

4.26.2013 Senior Photos: Sydney

Little darling, it's been a long cold lonely winter
Little darling, it feels like years since it's been here

...and the photo season is picking up again! I'm getting inquiries and starting to schedule things and I'm excited to be able to share the first session of 2013.  Sydney is graduating very soon and we had such a nice Friday evening taking some senior photos for her. I don't think she could take a bad photo - I loved so many of these.
