It was a beautiful evening for pictures of this beautiful family.  We had to reschedule multiple times due to iffy weather over the last few weeks - and finally our schedules and the weather aligned!  It was so good to see Lisa and her family!

I have known both Kim and Daniel since I was in middle school...and Kim has been one of my best friends since highschool.  Taking their family pictures is always fun for me because I get to spend a couple hours with them AND their kids.  Since I normally see Kim on our "girls night out" - I don't get to see her children as much and I really enjoy spending this time with them!  We had a very successful morning of photos...

10.21.2011 Michigan Wine Trail

For years I have been hearing about the wine trail in Southwest Michigan from my coworkers.  The trail includes 12-15 wineries with vineyard tours, tasting rooms, and winery tours.  I have always wanted to go and finally made plans with my sister and two of our friends to spend a leisurely fall day driving the back roads of Michigan stopping wherever our hearts desired. 

We had so much fun! We visited 6 wineries on the scenic route that was surrounded by the fall colors of changing leaves, vineyards and our new houses we picked out along the way (we'll let you know when we move up there)  :)  ... the trip included lunch at Tabor Hill Winery overlooking the vineyards, a bonus of a brewery at the Round Barn Winery, and a stop at an antique store in a barn we passed along way.

10.17.2011 Senior Pics: Kelly

It was a chilly, windy evening that we weren't used to yet because we've had pretty great fall weather this late into October!  But, we had a great time taking Kelly's senior pictures along with her mom and her trusty pup- who followed us around to various locations around her house.  Kelly and her mom were alot of fun and she was a great subject!

10.10.2011 Childrens Portraits: Reid

We had a quick session of pictures for Reid's 9 month milestone. :)  Alot of these cute smiles are reactions to his two older brothers doing whatever they could to help make him look and smile for his pictures.  What a lucky boy to have two older brothers like that.  I also love his smile for his mom when she was getting him settled for his picture with the apple crate. :)
